Personal Dosimetry Services

Personal dosimetry provides the means to measure and record radiation doses received by individual workers. Personal dosemeters should be worn by operators who take more than 100 intra-oral films or 50 panoramic films per week. In practice, the majority of dentists and support staff do not need to wear dosemeters although many do so as a reassurance measure.
